The build quality seems fairly sturdy, though the aluminium does get fairly hot like other fast USB 3 drives. The cap clicks nicely onto the back, though a bit loose. PROs : -Speed is good, as advertised. CONs : -No lanyard provided.

The write speed is where it really shines, writes are when you find yourself wishing it would finish already - though read speeds are excellent too. I'm a big fan of Mushkin drives for the build quality and speed. But I was a little surprised by the size of the Ventura Pro - for some reason I was expecting it to be the same size as the ultra compact Ventura non-pro drive I have. But it's a bigged-up version of that - almost 3 inches long I'd still recommend it highly, of course - but just an FYI in case it would matter for your particular use.

And if you want it with "bling" My old 2GB Sandisk titanium was nice but is heavy, big, and didn't fit very nice on my keychain. I've had mine for a few weeks now, and it truly is what it seems.
