Missing toolbar in vista

Now getting somewhere. I updated Mb worth. At the end, I had to reboot. BSOD usbhub. Safe mode does the same. Last known does the same. Now it just reboots. The system restore point that I created right before the update is gone. Tuesday, back on the phone with Microsoft. All day.
